Pubblicato suVerificata Leonardo, who received us at arrival, made a world of a difference with his hospitality, smile, good nature and willingness to help. Privacy, quietness and views from the place are amazing, in particular at the entrance of the place. The apartment is located on the side of the hill behind the Amalfi Duomo where you can see the bell tower basically at your sight level. Amalfi’s maze like streets going up hill will take you to restaurants and little squares and stores that you will never imagine they were there and you can reach them within minutes from the apartment. It is truly a unique experience. You just have to go downstairs to get to the Main Street and get to the beach, bus and ferry stops. Be aware that going up to the apartment requires climbing probably 200+ steps. This was not an issue for my partner and I because we are hikers and are happy when we exercise while traveling. I would categorized this experience as a healthy one, and truly one of the most unique and beautifulPubblicato suVerificata The view from the small balcony and from the building entrance is one of the best in Amalfi. The apartment itself is very large and comfortable, and well equipped. Silvio and Leonardo were very helpful and flexible during the entire stay. Super friendly hosts, they helped us immediately upon arrival to help with our luggage and also booked us a last minute car from the airport which was SUPER helpful! Very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. There is an elevator with a fee to use but we found the stairs to be more doable back and forth for our stay. It is quite a climb but takes less than a few minutes to get up but if you have bad knees i don’t recommend!! The building has a spectacular view of Amalfi and the inside is just as expected. Olga contacted us prior to check-in and met us down near the elevator to get us to the apartment. She also sent us a ton of recommendations after check-in that were super useful! One note -- Be warned there are a LOT of stairs to get up to the apartment, or you can take the elevator and then walk down a few flights to get to the apartment. So if you have any leg pain or mobility issues, this apartment might not be a good fit.
